The Wheeling Farmers Market has started the Wednesday market in a new location. New Location will be at the former Edgewood Lutheran Church on National Road from 4-6 pm each Wednesday through October. Senior Nutrition Vouchers are gladly excepted. The Saturday market will remain at St. Michael's from 8 am - 12 pm.

Toys 4 Toronto. Toronto is collecting new and gently used toys for the girls and boys in the Toronto school district to make their Christmas brighter. This year's distribution day is scheduled for 12/14 & 12/15 at the Life Center/Goucher Building at 239 4th St in Toronto, OH. Children's ages range from newborn to age 13. Toys can be dropped off at North River Ave Christian Church, 207 North River Ave, Toronto, OH, First United Methodist Church, Main & 6th Streets, or at Riverview United Methodist Church, Main and River Streets. Christmas Time New York City Red Eye Bus Trip. Departing on 12/7/18 at 10:30 pm in Bridgeport, Oh Big Lots parking lot. (Park by the old Big Lots store). We will arrive in New York City around 7:30 am to 8 am. You will have the entire day all to yourself. We will be departing New York City at 10:30 pm from Macy's Department Store, 151 West 34th Street, New York City. We will have a 50/50 drawing on the way to NYC. Cost is $125 per person. All proceeds will go to the FOPA Lodge #100 The Thin Blue Line which helps the less fortunate children of our area have a Christmas.

The Gift or Years Fellowship Group, of the First Christian Church, is sponsoring an educational series on Sept. 20 in the their Fellowship Hall located at 3252 Main Street Weirton. The sessions will be addressing medical power of attorney, living wills, and all medical forms to be knowledgable of, when entering a hospital environment. They will then cover trusts versus conventional will and any other financial matters that may concern you along with pre-planning funeral arrangements to help ease stress on your families. These topics are just to name a few. Stop questioning friends and "ask an expert." If you have questions regarding your affairs, let us help. Sept 20th is Cindy Fairclough, LSW, Social Worker from Trinity Health System who will also have a Notary Public present for WV residents, if any forms are requested to be signed. Session begins at 6:30 pm. Notebooks, pens and literature will be provided. Each session will be followed by a question and answer period. Snacks will follow. Open to the public, all are welcome.

Age of Steam Roundhouse Tours
Sugarcreek, Ohio. Cost of tour is $42 and includes a box lunch. Tours last about 1 - 1/2 hours. Covers about 4/10 mile of walking. Please wear appropriate, closed- toe footwear. The Age of Steam Roadhouse is a private facility and is not open to the public. Reservations are required. These tours will take visitors through the 18-stall roundhouse, back shop, and the Historic collection of the Age of Steam Foundation. The complex is home to 20 steam locomotives. Tours will take place at 11 am and 2 pm.

The concert features The Ron Retzer Trio and the 1170 Band. All proceeds benefit seniors in the area by providing in-home care, home delivered meals, transportation, and activities at the Senior Center.
